About the Job
The Painter – Engineering role is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s interior and exterior paintwork, ensuring that guest areas, rooms, and back-of-house spaces remain visually appealing and well maintained. The ideal candidate will have technical painting skills, attention to detail, and experience working in hospitality or large commercial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform painting, polishing, and finishing work across guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, and filling cracks or holes before painting.
- Mix and match paints to maintain the hotel’s design and quality standards.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to protect surfaces from wear and damage.
- Coordinate with the engineering and maintenance team for renovation or repair tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards while working in guest areas.
